Two entrapped at Phillipsburg Mall.

     

Sunday, November 13, 2011 12:36 As the Squad had two ambulances and the chief standing-by at the veterans day ceremony at Phillipsburg High School, units were alerted to respond to the Phillipsburg Mall in front of Bon-Ton for an MVA with 1 party unconscious. Immediately 9453, Rescue Ambulance 9455, and Chief 9450 went responding. Upon arriving on scene 9450 established Phillipsburg Mall command advising dispatch there were two patients trapped, with none unconscious. The crew from 9453 started BLS care on both patients, and the crew from 9455, with assistance from Pohatcong Engine 75-1 started on a passanger side removal, along with a door removal for the drivers side. Extrication was completed in under 10 minutes. Both patients were transported to warren ER with minor injuries and units cleared the scene after 45 minutes.
